About the Role
We’re looking for a Full Stack Developer with a strong software engineering foundation to help build, scale, and deploy production-grade GenAI products. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who has worked in startups or small teams, shipped real products end-to-end, and learned engineering best practices from experienced technical leaders.
You’ll work closely with our Head of AI, complementing their applied AI expertise with your hands-on experience in system design, scalable software development, and production deployment. You should be excited by modern GenAI workflows and motivated to build reliable, high-performance systems around them.

Wicky is a sports tech startup offering AI solutions for businesses in sport to help engage their commercial partners and kick their innovation goals. We build data-driven insights for sports fans, organizations, and media houses.
Essential Requirements
- Strong experience as a Full Stack Developer covering frontend, backend, databases, authentication, and APIs
- Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and Python
- Strong knowledge of system design and cloud infrastructure including AWS, GCP, Railway, or similar platforms
- Experience with caching systems such as Redis
- Experience working on and scaling production systems including applications with large user bases (~1M users)
- Comfortable with both monolithic and microservices architectures
- Able to own projects end-to-end — from design to deployment and monitoring
Highly Preferred
Hands-on experience with agentic development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, Augment, Antigravity, or similar.

We’re seeking someone with a true software engineering mindset — someone who has worked in structured engineering teams, learned best practices from senior engineers or a CTO, and shipped real products in production environments.
- A strong interest in Generative AI workflows
- Practical experience building systems around LLMs and AI-powered applications
- The ability to collaborate closely with AI researchers and product teams to turn ideas into scalable, reliable systems
