Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance web application features using modern front-end or back-end technologies
- Build responsive user interfaces using React or Angular, with a solid understanding of HTML/CSS
- Implement server-side logic using Node.js, Java, or Python, supporting APIs and backend services
- Design and interact with databases such as MongoDB, relational databases, or cloud-native data stores
- Develop and consume RESTful APIs to enable smooth communication between front-end and back-end components
- Support application deployments on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) under guidance
- Assist with debugging, testing, and resolving application issues
- Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver new features and improvements
- Follow best practices for version control, code reviews, and basic CI/CD workflows
- Participate in monthly team meetings and contribute to team-building efforts
- Contribute to technical discussions, peer reviews, and the OP Wiki/Knowledge Base
Required Skills & Experience
- 2–3 years of experience in full-stack or software development
- Hands-on experience with at least one frontend framework: React or Angular
- Hands-on experience with at least one backend technology: Node.js, Java, or Python
- Strong understanding of HTML/CSS and basic web design principles
- Experience working with databases: MongoDB, SQL, or similar
- Exposure to cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and backend integration
- Experience using Git and participating in team-based development
- Willingness to learn, take feedback, and grow technical skills
Nice to Have
- Exposure to serverless or cloud-native services (Lambda, App Services, Cloud Functions, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
