Cloud Security Engineer – Identity Threat Detection

JumpCloud is a US-headquartered cloud directory and identity management platform, and its India engineering hub is based in Bengaluru. JumpCloud operates a globally distributed remote engineering model with no mandatory office attendance. As a Cloud Security Engineer specialising in Identity Threat Detection and Response (ITDR), you will design and build microservices that detect, analyse, and respond to identity-based threats across JumpCloud's platform used by enterprises globally. Your responsibilities include building real-time threat detection engines using Apache Flink and Spark Streaming on AWS, implementing anomaly detection models for user behaviour analytics (UEBA), managing event streaming infrastructure on Kafka and Kinesis, building decision engines that automatically remediate suspicious authentication activities, integrating with SIEM platforms like Splunk and Microsoft Sentinel via API, and contributing to JumpCloud's ITDR product roadmap. The role requires deep expertise in cloud security concepts, identity protocols (SAML, OIDC, SCIM), and distributed systems.
