Data Engineer – Analytics Platform

Swiggy is India's leading on-demand convenience platform, operating food delivery, Instamart quick commerce, Genie instant package delivery, and Dineout restaurant discovery — all from its Bengaluru headquarters. Swiggy's data engineering team operates with a hybrid-remote model, and this role offers full remote flexibility for candidates based anywhere in India. As a Data Engineer on the Analytics Platform team, you will build the data infrastructure that powers Swiggy's real-time operational dashboards, demand forecasting models, dynamic pricing engines, and marketing analytics tools. Your responsibilities include designing and maintaining Apache Spark and Flink streaming pipelines on AWS, building dbt data transformation models on Redshift, creating data quality monitoring systems, managing Apache Airflow DAGs for batch processing, enabling self-serve analytics through well-documented data marts, and collaborating with data scientists on feature engineering pipelines for ML models. You will work with some of India's most complex real-time operational datasets, spanning restaurant inventory, rider location, customer demand, and delivery partner performance across 500+ cities.
