Generative AI / LLM Engineer

Microsoft's Gurugram engineering hub contributes directly to Copilot, Bing AI, and Azure AI Foundry — some of the most widely used AI products globally. As a Generative AI/LLM Engineer, you will build production-grade AI systems that integrate large language models into enterprise workflows for Microsoft 365 and Azure customers. Your responsibilities include architecting RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation) pipelines using Azure AI Search and Azure OpenAI, fine-tuning foundation models on domain-specific enterprise data, building multi-turn AI agent frameworks using Semantic Kernel and AutoGen, evaluating model outputs using automated LLM-as-judge evaluation pipelines, and working with Microsoft's responsible AI team to ensure outputs meet safety and fairness standards. You will collaborate with product teams in Redmond and engineering teams in India and China to ship AI features to hundreds of millions of Office users worldwide.
