Machine Learning Engineer – Growth & Recommendations

Meesho is India's fastest-growing social commerce platform, backed by SoftBank and Meta, serving over 13 crore unique transacting customers primarily in Tier 2, 3, and 4 cities. Meesho's engineering and ML teams operate with significant remote flexibility from its Bengaluru HQ. As an ML Engineer on the Growth and Recommendations team, you will build and own ML systems that directly drive Meesho's GMV and user retention. Your responsibilities include building product recommendation and personalisation models using collaborative filtering, two-tower neural networks, and contextual bandits; designing real-time feature stores using Redis and Feast; building model serving infrastructure using TorchServe and BentoML; running rigorous A/B and interleaving experiments to evaluate recommendation quality; and collaborating with product and data engineering teams on data instrumentation and pipeline improvements. Meesho's ML infrastructure is entirely on AWS, and you will work with large-scale datasets representing shopping behaviour from hundreds of millions of users across diverse geographies and income segments.
