Senior Data Engineer

MakeMyTrip is South Asia's largest online travel company, handling over 2 crore hotel bookings and flight tickets annually. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be the backbone of MakeMyTrip's data platform team, building and operating the pipelines and infrastructure that power pricing algorithms, personalisation engines, and executive-level dashboards. Your responsibilities include architecting real-time and batch data pipelines using Apache Spark and Flink on AWS EMR, managing orchestration with Apache Airflow, building self-serve data frameworks for analysts and data scientists using dbt and Redshift, ensuring data quality through automated validation frameworks, and collaborating with ML teams to productionise feature engineering pipelines. You will also mentor junior data engineers, contribute to data governance initiatives, and represent the data platform team in cross-functional planning sessions with product and business leaders.
