Go / Golang Backend Developer

Nykaa is India's leading beauty and fashion e-commerce platform, listed on NSE, with over 35 million transacting customers. Their Gurugram engineering team is actively rebuilding core platform services in Go to achieve higher performance and lower infrastructure costs. As a Go Backend Developer, you will be responsible for building high-throughput, low-latency microservices that power Nykaa's product catalogue, inventory management, cart, and checkout systems. Your responsibilities include designing gRPC and REST APIs in Go, managing service communication via Consul and Envoy service mesh, implementing distributed caching with Redis Cluster, designing PostgreSQL schemas with complex indexing strategies for catalogue search, writing comprehensive benchmark and integration tests, and deploying services on GCP using Kubernetes and Helm charts. You will work in a high-autonomy environment where engineers own their services end-to-end from design to production monitoring.
