Software Development Engineer I (SDE-1)

Adobe's Noida R&D center is one of the most significant engineering hubs outside the United States, contributing to flagship products like Adobe Acrobat, Creative Cloud, and Document Cloud. As an SDE-1, you will be embedded in a product engineering team responsible for building and shipping high-impact features used by over 30 million users worldwide. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve writing clean, well-tested production code in Java or C++, participating in design reviews, and contributing to architectural discussions. You will work closely with senior engineers and product managers to understand requirements, break them into technical tasks, and deliver them in a fast-paced agile environment. The role also requires strong algorithmic thinking — Adobe's engineering bar is exceptionally high, and you will be expected to solve complex distributed systems problems. Beyond coding, you'll participate in on-call rotations, write runbooks, and own the reliability of your services.
