Software Engineer II – Platform

Juspay is India's leading payment orchestration platform, processing over $100 billion in annualised payment volumes for clients including Amazon, Swiggy, Ola, and IRCTC. Their Gurugram engineering hub works on core payment routing, tokenisation, and orchestration infrastructure built on Haskell and Rust. As a Platform Engineer, you will contribute to Juspay's open-source HyperSwitch payment router and proprietary orchestration engine. Your responsibilities include writing pure functional Haskell modules for payment processing logic, building Rust-based performance-critical components for protocol parsing, designing distributed consensus mechanisms for multi-gateway failover, managing Nix-based reproducible build pipelines, and contributing architecture proposals to Juspay's internal RFC process.
